I am a passionate writer. Every day, I write for two hours. This is my special time. No distractions, just me and my thoughts. Here’s what my day looks like and some tips on storytelling.
So let’s get started…
I wake up early. I make a cup of tea after my breakfast and sit at my desk. For two hours, I write. Sometimes the words flow easily. Other times, it’s hard to write even a few sentences. But I do it every day. This habit keeps me alive.
5 Tips on Storytelling:
1. Start with a Hook: Grab the reader’s attention from the first sentence. Use an interesting fact or a vivid image.
2. Create Real Characters: Make your characters relatable. Give them backgrounds, goals, and flaws.
3. Show, Don’t Tell: Describe actions and feelings through what characters do and say, not just through descriptions.
4. Keep a Good Pace: Mix fast and slow scenes. This keeps readers interested.
5. Don’t Edit too Much: The first draft is just the start. Don’t edit too much; improve it gradually.
I love to read a lot. Books, journals, articles—anything that helps me learn and improve my writing. Research gives depth to my stories and helps me understand different viewpoints.
Reading is a big part of my life. It gives me new ideas. I also keep a journal. I write down interesting thoughts and story ideas. My daily life inspires my stories. Everyday events and conversations often become part of my writing.
Writing every day takes discipline, but it is rewarding. It has helped me to love my career as a writer. My advice for other writers: write daily, read a lot, and stay curious. This is how I keep my passion for writing alive.
