Why is it too Hard To Be a Consistent Writer?

Don’t Just Jump Into Writing.

Doing one thing at once is easy. But doing the same thing day after day, year after year, is hard. There was a time when I used to feel 3X motivated about doing something one day, but when I tried to do it every day at the same time, it felt like a burden. Sometimes, I even stopped because motivation doesn’t work daily. So, the result is that one day, I was writing for 8–9 hours, but then for the next 15–16 days, I was out of it. And when you start again, you have to figure out the flow all over again.

Why?

Human brains are biased toward immediate rewards.

If we don’t get quick wins, we lose track.

As humans, we want quick feedback on everything.

But we often forget that every good thing takes time.

A tree doesn’t grow and starts giving us fruit in one day. It takes time.

The same goes for any of our tasks.

It’s a major problem if we don’t do anything consistently.

Suppose you just ate once in your life.

Can you imagine that?

Without eating daily, how would you survive in this world?

I know, I know.

It’s an extreme example.

But the truth is that it’s a problem when you expect to get a quick win.

In this case, you will fall quickly as well.

So, most of the time, the problem is not in your skill; the problem is a lack of consistency.

It’s the cause of your failure.

The main thing is, there is no doubt that consistency is a must for your success.

Solving this will make it easier for you to walk the path.

Want  to solve this?

At first, don’t just jump into tasks before knowing A to Z about them.

Do research.

Find data.

Take time to decide.

And finally, know that even if you do everything right, it might win or fail in every case—it’s true.

You can’t win every time in every case.

But doing one thing consistently will help you understand your approach, and you’ll see the roads to reach the goal.

Consistency is a state,not a Destination.
