How to become A Successful Writer
Back In 2013, I published my first book.
It was not as easy as you think.
I know how it feels when you are working from scratch. Everyone around you is pushing you back to stop what you are doing. Cause they still believe writing won’t bring cash! They are not wrong. They did not. They don’t know. So,I can’t blame them. Some might say no no writing is easy. But both of them are wrong! It’s not easy nor hard to earn cash from Writing. So what it really is?! It’s a long process…
- You Have to Work Twice as Hard as Everyone Else
- You Need to Become a World-Class Marketer
- You Can’t Measure Success Over Days; You Have to Measure It Over Decades
If you think writing is going to be easy, think again. To stand out in the crowded world of writing, you need to work twice as hard as everyone else. It’s True! That means more late nights, more revisions, and more sacrifices. You’ll need to hone constantly striving to improve. While others are relaxing, you’ll be writing, editing, and rewriting. This continuous effort is what separates the hobbyists from the professionals. Remember, the writers you admire didn’t get there by accident—they outworked everyone around them.
Being a big writer isn’t enough anymore. You also need to master the art of marketing. This means learning how to promote your work, build a brand, and connect with your audience. You need to understand social media, email marketing, and networking. It’s about getting your name out there and making sure people know who you are and what you offer. Big writing won’t sell itself—you have to sell your work with the same passion you put into creating it.
Success in writing is a long game. If you’re looking for instant results, you’re in the wrong field. I know, It happens. As I was one of them. But what I have learned from my Writing Business. You have to be in it for the long 10/20/30 years… measuring your progress over years, not days. It’s about the slow, steady process of skills, experiences, and connections. Overnight success is a myth; true success is built over decades of consistent effort and persistence.
- Stay committed
- keep pushing forward
- And remember that every small step is part of a much larger journey.
