Readers don’t buy words; they buy messages.
I am now writing to solve my readers’ problems.
I was not like that before. Honestly,
I am speaking. I used to write for myself.
I have been writing since my childhood because I enjoyed it.
That time was different!
That’s a sweet memory in my mind.
That’s what I want to recall again and again. But that’s a different thing.
It could be a grand memoir for me, not for my reader.
It will not solve their problem.
If my writing is not solving anyone’s problem, then why would they read my piece?
So, I now write to solve my readers’ problems.
People don’t buy words; they buy messages. Often, writers complain about their earnings. Those who are trying to sell words forget that if I make a list of five words like paper, pen, laptop, mobile, and window.
People won’t even read it for free!
On the other hand, if you write “How to Write a Masterpiece?”
people will be ready to buy it if you offer the book in exchange for cash.
What’s the difference between them?
Both are words.
Both are sentences.
It’s an example.
But people do it, actually.
They write anything they want and then complain about why people did not buy their writing. The truth is, if you are writing for yourself, then don’t expect to earn from others.
If you want to earn from your writing, then write for your audience.
Think about your reader—what they want to know.
Give them the message that will solve their problem.First, you should find out who you are writing for.
Not everyone, but your specific audience.
You can’t answer all of them in a way.
Find out a specific problem and solve that in one specific way.
You will get your reader.
That is how you become a writer to read.
