Turn Writer’s Block Into a Story Prompt

Writer’s block happens to everyone.

You sit in front of the page and nothing comes out.

It can feel frustrating but it is not the end.

Instead of fighting it, lean into it.

Ask yourself what is causing the block.

Is it fear of being judged or perfectionism.

Sometimes the block itself is a story.

Write about the struggle of not writing.

Describe the setting, your feelings, the tension in your mind.

Turn your frustration into characters or a situation.

Even small observations can become prompts.

A moment of waiting can inspire a scene.

A misheard conversation can become dialogue in a story.

By looking at the block as a starting point you create new ideas.
